Purpose of the site

This website presents the work and services of Signus Visual, an independent studio creating photorealistic 3D product renders and visuals for brands and creators. Enquiries are handled by email and through the contact form.

This policy explains how Signus Visual handles personal data when you visit this website, in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP / revDSG). We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site and reply to you.

What we collect and why

• Contact form & email. When you send a message we receive the name, email address and project details you provide. We use them only to answer your enquiry and discuss a possible project.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider may automatically record technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of access, to deliver the site securely and reliably. This is a standard part of operating any website.
• Preferences in your browser. Your chosen theme (light/dark) and language are stored locally in your browser (localStorage). They stay on your device, are not sent to us, and are not used to track you.

This site uses no advertising and no analytics or tracking cookies.

Services that process data on our behalf

• Form delivery (Formspree). The contact form is delivered by Formspree (Formspree, Inc., USA). The data you submit is transmitted to and processed by Formspree solely to forward your message to us. This may involve a transfer to the United States.
• Hosting. The site is served by a static hosting provider, which processes the server-log data described above to operate the site.
• Web fonts (Google Fonts). Fonts are loaded from Google (Google LLC). To deliver them, your IP address is transmitted to Google servers when the page loads.

International transfers

Some of the providers above are based in the United States, so your data may be processed outside Switzerland. We only use providers that offer recognised safeguards (such as appropriate contractual clauses) for such transfers.

How long we keep it

Enquiry messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting project, and then deleted when they are no longer required. Server logs are retained only for a short period by the hosting provider.

Your rights

Under the FADP you may request information about the data we hold about you, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. You may also object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Security

The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection and we take reasonable measures to protect the data you send us. No method of transmission over the internet is, however, ever completely secure.

We may update this policy as the site or applicable law changes. The current version always lives at this address, with the date shown above.
